Our top NEWS story: The list of the 50 Greatest TV Icons was released today and environmentalists are delighted, some are down right delirious, that Kermit the Frog, the Green Machine, is ranked 21st, well ahead of James Gandolfini (42nd) i.e. Tony Soprano, the mob boss who destroys everything in his path.
Though American Idol fans are disappointed that Simon ‘The Scowl’ Cowell came in near the end of the list (47th) everyone over the age of 60 (including Ed McMahon, age 1012) applauds the list’s creators for placing Johnny Carson in top spot, well ahead of Homer Simpson (9th), who’s not even a real person.
Me? I can’t take the list seriously. Roseanne took 11th spot for Pete’s sake, way ahead of Kermit, and she can't hit a musical note if it was taped to her face. Oh, it ain’t easy being green!!
Over to SPORTS: Toronto Maple Leaf rookie Jiri Tlusty has recently learned two valuable lessons after sending nude photos of himself to a dear, dear friend and then finding them plastered all over isthishappening.com a few nanoseconds later.
One. Yes, Jiri, even though you said “I feel like sh__ right now” (as if anyone really cares), this is in fact happening, you big immature maroon.
Two. If you don’t want your grandmother to see your doopus, don’t take a digital photo of it and then send it to anybody’s computer. Where have you been??
